Herbane is a player, supporter, "YouTuber", former Defence Secretary (Judge), and Wiki Administrator on the CrabCraft server who began playing during Season V on the 28th of July 2025. He is known for his insanity and spontaneous actions on the server.

Beginning of Season Quote

When Herbane first joined CrabCraft, the name of the server reminded him of a quote from a full recreation Harry Potter parody on YouTube. In the scene where Draco Malfoy is greeting Harry, he states "I've got crabs, and I've got boils, and I'm Mouthboy. Draco Mouthboy." instead of "This is Crab, and Goyle. And I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy." which he referenced immediately after joining.

After the end of Season V he thought it would be funny if he said this quote as his first words for every season, and did so for the launch of Season 6, and 7.

Tumors (heads)

Herbane was born with an interdimensional disease that forces him to expel cancerous growths resembling that of his head every so often, usually leaving them in other player's bases.

The Tumors were first introduced in Season V and were much more numerous than in future seasons, mainly due to Herbane still finding his footing and a lack of self control. In Season 6 there were hardly any Tumors as Herbane didn't play long enough for there to be enough interesting bases to hide them in. And in Season 7 he plans on being much more picky with where he places his Tumors, making sure someone REALLY has to be looking for them to be able to find them. At the end of each season he plans on uploading a YouTube video compilation of all Herbane Tumor locations, with coordinates, base names, dates placed, and if they survived into the world download.

Herbane tends to quote various A Minecraft Movie lines and scenes. Frequently stating "I, am Steve." randomly.

Season V

History

Unverified

Herbane discovered CrabCraft as he was browsing the backlogs of a Minecraft server list. his first words on the server were "I've got crabs, and I've got boils, and I'm Mouthboy. Draco Mouthboy." referencing a Harry Potter parody on YouTube.

After Herbane spouted many more references to the parody and just general nonsense, the player NinjaTrunks decided to torture him, believing him to be a general no-life troll. Ninja eventually left, allowing Herbane to discover that he could break out of the whitelist borders around spawn by using the nether portal there, as the nether roof had no whitelist borders, he could use a portal linked to a location outside of spawn to escape.

He found his way into a taiga and dug out a hole in the ground to live in. This would later become his main base Sprucetip Village. He played on the server for around 30 minutes to an hour before Ninja found him, murdered him, broke his bed, and accused him of stealing the base. (Not true!!!)

Many more shenanigans continued, until Herbane was finally verified into the server, he returned to the hole he was murdered in, and revamped it into Herbane's Unverified Hovel.

Vinylonia

A couple of days after Herbane was verified, as he was working on the area that would become Sprucetip Village, the player Vinyl5five invited him to join an upcoming town north of him. Not really having anything else interesting to do he decided he'd go check it out and maybe build something.

Herbane was the first non-founder to arrive and start building something in the town. He constructed a basic manor based off of the woodland mansions. As he built, multiple other players would arrive in the town and build houses of their own, eventually becoming the most prosperous and lively team in the whole server.

Though, nothing good lasts forever, and eventually it all came tumbling down as the founders began to express their distasteful humour and opinions. Everyone left to join the new town Siren's Refuge, and the area was eventually completely destroyed by some on the server leaving only a crater. But before all that happened, Herbane decided to run for a minister role.

Defence Secretary (Judge)

Herbane was elected on the 10th of August 2025 as the Defence Secretary (Judge). He only won the election mainly due to the influence of players in the town Vinylonia, which he was a part of at the time.

Herbane's manifesto

When he won the election, he gave a speech about his morals, which he also heavily noted on in his manifesto. And after the election, he attended the CrabCraft auction where he won a baby zoglin for 10 diamonds which he named Zoggy.

During his short term he redesigned his office in the town hall to include green colours, and framed pictures of him in Judge's attire, which lasted well into his successor's term.

Herbane resigned sometime around the 15th of august, as he felt his winning of the election was unjust due to the influence of Vinylonia, and brought up choosing NinjaTrunks as a successor in a voice chat with him.

Though, Herbane was slightly annoyed when he logged onto discord the next day to notice he had been removed from the position without warning or full communication with the Secretary, as he had only brought it up a couple times and never confirmed with the Secretary directly if he truly wanted to resign.

The Siren's Refuge

A town built under the sea in drained underwater temples, Herbane was never truly a citizen of the refuge, and only stuck around during the beginning of it. Though, he did contribute largely to the town, being the one to drain the water from the underside of the first temple, allowing for vertical expansion. After he was finished he constructed a jazz club in the basement.

The Purge

At the end of Season V Herbane planned on not taking part in the purge, but he ended up joining anyway as he was awake when it began.

Many shenanigans occurred during the purge, including but not limited to: Throwing other players around with a knockback 55 wooden shovel given to him by Max, narrowly avoiding death by mace wielding elytra wearers, getting brought to help blow up Avro and lighting the tnt prematurely killing multiple people, getting creative mode from max and building a bunch of bedrock shmenis', witnessing the burning of Shadow's house, and much more.

Sprucetip Village

The main base of Herbane in Season V, located in the northern taiga above spawn. Originally, it was just Herbane's Unverified Hovel, But after some expansion the name was changed to Herbane Land, and after Herbane's dad Leenuks moved in the name was changed once more to Hernuksia, and after Herbane still didn't like the name it was renamed Sprucetip Village near the end of Season V.

The Musical Cactus

The Musical Cactus was a shop owned by Herbane located in the southern district of spawn. It was planned to sell Cactus, Music Discs, and pottery related items. This shop was sort of a failure, as Herbane was slow on progress with it and it was never truly finished/stocked.

Miscellaneous

Herbane's Creeper Farm

Built in the ocean at 4751 -1487, this was constructed with the intention of crafting tnt to break bedrock blocks at the portal to his base on the nether roof for a stairway down into the nether. Though, this soon became obsolete for 2 reasons: #1 He discovered a mod that allowed him to instantly break bedrock without the need for tnt at all. (Don't worry the owner of the server Max was seen using this cheat in the past so it's allllll good 👍) #2 it turns out the farm was very good at spawning bats as it was made entirely out of diorite, which is one of the only blocks that spawn bats. This made less space in the mob count for creepers and caused the farm to be insufficient.

Season 6

History

Herbane was mainly absent for the second half of Season 6. There aren't many notable things that he did in the first few months he played.

Christmas

Herbane celebrated the most wonderful time of the year by constructing a beautiful festive cabin villa, overlooking the icy northern coast on a snowy peninsula.

Herbane's gift

The server hosted a Secret Santa event, and when it came time to open his gift he was given an... AI generated map art of himself... Which he put on the ceiling of Glitch's base. (Sadly, no screenshots were taken, and the gift giver's name was forgotten.)

Looting

Herbane started using the bluemaps (and freecam) to search for structures and save the coordinates on his worldmap to return to later. He looted many trail ruins, monster dungeons, and mineshafts. Amassing quite a few music discs, pottery sherds, armor trims, golden apples, and enchanted golden apples. He planned on building a shop to sell the items he had collected, but never ended up getting around to it.

On the 14th of July 2026, Herbane uploaded a video to his YouTube channel of a sped up montage of him filling in the entire world with voxy, so he could see from one end of the map all the way to the other.
