Herbane is a player and the current Chief of Justice on the CrabCraft server who began playing during Season V on the 28th of July 2025.

Chief of Justice

Herbane was elected on the 10th of August 2025 as the Chief of Justice (Judge). He only won the election mainly due to the influence of players in the town Vinylonia, which he was a part of at the time.

Herbane resigned sometime around the 15th of august, and was succeeded by NinjaTrunks.

Herbane declared Arcana as a nemesis after he abused him with his hammers due to Herbane being creepy at spawn, watching from a far, and eventually sealing it after Arcana abused him further at the town Vinylonia. Other encounters have happened at spawn and the Auction House during election day, where Herbane was just a smidge disruptive due to the ego from becoming Judge, and may have knocked Arcana off of the landing just a couple of times causing Arcana to chase after him.

Izzy isn't really considered by Herbane as a nemesis, but their affiliation with Arcana deserves them a spot on the list. Half of the time they are allies, as they are both a part of Vinylonia. Other times, when she is with Arcana, she acts as a nemesis.

Liquid (sometimes DTrump) hasn't really done anything to Herbane at all. Herbane actually worked on Liquid's base for them, flattening a portion of it for a future construction. But Liquid REALLY wanted to be on his nemesis list, as they considered it a great honor. But they are not worthy of being a real nemesis, so they are half.

Bases

• Herbane Land

Herbane Land is the current main base of Herbane located in the northern taiga above spawn. Originally, it was just Herbane's Unverified Hovel, But after some expansion the name was changed. This base is connected through a nether railway to CCC.

• Crab Claw Cove

Crab Claw Cove or CCC for short is a base of Herbane located far north east of spawn that is currently only a secret stash, dug out while he was still an unverified player. Herbane plans on building more structures there but mainly focuses on Herbane Land at the moment. This base is connected through a nether railway to Herbane Land.

Herbane's Manor is an abandoned base of Herbane located in the town Vinylonia, left due to certain circumstances.

Landmarks

• Herbane Land - CCC Railway

This railway was built to connect his bases Herbane Land and Crab Claw Cove, as they are quite far away from each other. The railway has been through a few changes, originally starting out designed similar to Herbane's Bridges, but later due to frequent mob spawning on the tracks he redesigned it completely incased in cobble stone with only a 1 x 2 block space for the minecarts.

Season V

Beginnings

Herbane first joined CrabCraft while bored and looking for a server to fool around on, he headed to the end of the list of one of many Minecraft Server websites where he found it. Upon joining, the name of the server reminded him of a quote from a Harry Potter parody by DoggieHouse on YouTube, where Draco says to Harry "I've got crabs, and I've got boils. And I'm Mouthboy, Draco Mouthboy." which he promptly said aloud in the chat. This was much to the other player's confusion. The first players to greet Herbane were WaterTie, PurelyAkemi, and NinjaTrunks.

Ninja, due to Herbane's unverified-ness and craziness, decided to slaughter Herbane. This thirst for blood would not end, and due to a server plugin at the time that allowed players to drop their heads upon death, Ninja's inventory soon began to fill up with Herbane's heads from the amount of times Ninja had killed him. This prompted Herbane to make a joke regarding giving him heads that only fueled Ninja's rage further. PurelyAkemi, who was watching the whole thing through chat on the sidelines decided that was enough Minecraft for the day and left.

The slaughter would go on for awhile until Ninja too decided that was enough Minecraft and left. Herbane now at peace went to explore the spawn area. Eventually, he decided to see if he could go through the Nether Portal, which he could. Then he wondered if he could enter another Nether Portal leading outside the blacklist range to escape, and he could. Thus beginning the era of Unverified on the Run.

Unverified on the Run

After escaping, Herbane proclaimed in chat "holy cow I'm free" and "(you heard nothing)" and decided to see if he could survive and build up a base while being an unverified player. He dug into a hole and began his first base at 742 85 -840, Herbane's Unverified Hovel. As he began his base, Ninja asked in chat who exactly whitelisted him, to which Herbane answered "I did, using super cool hax". He told them that it wasn't a glitch or bug or anything that was overlooked when it was put there, and to not pay attention to the first achievement he acquired, and to not use that to fix your glitch. Ninja didn't seem to think much of it and simply replied with "Uh huh". Around this time is when Herbane decided to open up an application form on the Discord, where he entered the questions very unseriously. Answers with yes would always be ended with "(Yugoslavia)", and he entered his favourite wood type as Woody Harrelson. Back to his base, he would gather resources and begin a tunnel down to the bottom of the world, where he eventually stumbled upon the deep dark. He made plans to take off all of his stuff to attempt suicide missions to the "mush zone" as he called it in chat to break all the shriekers so he could walk in later and grab all the loot no sweat. He returned up the tunnel to his home where he began to prepare, and that's when Ninja found him.

Ninja immediately attacked Herbane and knocked him back with his sword, proceeding to find his bed and destroy it so that he would respawn in the blacklist zone. Ninja slaughtered Herbane once more, losing everything in his inventory and temporarily losing his first home. Ninja demanded to know how he escaped spawn, but Herbane wouldn't tell him directly. Herbane said in chat that due to his rocky start on the server he planned on coming back in the future on a different account so he could be a "good boy" as he really wanted to play the server. Ninja returned to spawn and brought ChronicWhiffer with them. Chronic handed Herbane a Totem of Undying which Ninja proceeded to destroy by killing him. Herbane wondered why he had wasted the totem since it was his friend's, Ninja's answer was "because you had it". Ninja once again demanded to know how Herbane had left spawn and this time threatened to torture him if he didn't tell them, but since Herbane had lost everything he had nothing else to do but be tortured, thus beginning another round of slaughter. Chronic told Herbane to fight for his rights, and Herbane told Ninja to shove his sword deeper in him. Ninja once again asked how he escaped, Herbane reminded him of the hint from earlier, and Ninja finally figured it out.

Once again Ninja eventually stopped the slaughter, giving Herbane another chance to explore. He re-entered the Nether Portal, picking mushrooms up off the Nether Roof as he went exploring. Eventually he found an Iron Golem farm, which he threw the mushrooms into thinking whoever owns it is gonna be so confused. He went through the portals in the farm and, out of sheer luck, ended up next to Chronic's base. Herbane walked over to Chronic's base, walking past Chronic themself and heading off into the ocean like nothing was happening. Chronic noticed Herbane and began to follow him, Herbane feared the worst. But Chronic placed down a Shulker Box and took from it a pair of Elytra Wings, which he gave to Herbane. This gave him an achievement which showed up in chat, prompting Ninja to accuse Herbane of stealing it. This offended him greatly, he spouted in chat "I DONT GRIEF! I DONT DO THAT! THAT IS A LIE!" and stated that he is honorable (except in the chat). At this point Ninja had found Herbane again, Ninja and Chronic began to chase Herbane through the skies. The chase lasted about 5 minutes before Ninja caught up and burnt him to a crisp.

Herbane told Ninja he had anger issues, and that he needed anger therapy. He said he had a thirst for blood. Ninja then told Herbane "U literally stole his elytra, wtf." but Herbane knew this was not true and told him they gave it to them, that they were a kind soul, and that Ninja needed to read into their book a bit. Ninja then told Chronic to enter a group chat, to which Chronic said that he was going to yell at him. Herbane said Chronic didn't deserve berating as they were a kind soul, and that maybe he wouldn't come back in the future on another account to play properly, as this seemed toxic. Around this time one of the moderators SirIncognito/Dex joined, and offered Herbane some iron leggings in a chest, to which Herbane said he couldn't take as he was unverified, and asked them "why must you tease?" Dex explained that to be verified he needed to join the Discord server, but Herbane told him that he tried. (At the time, Ninja was an application reviewer, so you can tell where that would of went.) Herbane was rejected, he told Dex that he was being a fool. That he had quoted a Harry Potter parody, and that he had made a few "shmexual" jokes. Chronic randomly announced he was uncircumcised. Herbane also noted that he said Woody Harrelson was his favourite wood type, to which Ninja said "that doesn't even make any sense dumbass LOL". Dex was then blown up by a creeper, and told Herbane that the other moderator Max would get back to him on that application.

Later, Herbane began exploring the Nether Roof again. He stumbled upon the base of one SauronLord, who was torturing countless, seemingly innocent armadillos. It was at this point Herbane thought of an idea, if he slept in other player's beds, in other player's bases, then Ninja would have no right to destroy them and send him back to spawn, and finding them in the first place would be like finding a needle in a haystack. Herbane slept in SauronLord's bed, and then decided that was enough Minecraft for the day and left.

Unverified on the Run: Part 2

Herbane rejoined the server on the 2nd of August, having not have played in about 5 days. Herbane asked in chat if the nether had been fixed yet, and Ninja said "Oh Its you" and asked "didnt u get banned". Herbane, confused replied that he did not. Or that maybe he did and that it ran out. This confused Ninja as well, he said "how the hell did it run out" and "its permenant", Herbane said "why would i be banned anyway" and "i didnt exploit anything to a harmful degree". Ninja then accused him of griefing, saying "U literally stole someones stuff". Herbane, highly offended at these accusations told him that he only escaped spawn, made his base and then Ninja found and killed him. He also once more stated that Chronic gave him that elytra. Ninja, going even further, accused him of not making his own base at all. Herbane told him he did, and to go find it and check block records if he didn't believe him. He said Ninja was being a meany pants, and that he even told Ninja about the problem with the Nether Portal. At this point Ninja stopped with the accusations.

Herbane left SauronLord's base to go exploring again, and returned to the Iron Golem farm that brought him to Chronic's base, but he found that it was destroyed. He continued exploring until he found the base of Luminous. Luminous, similar to SauronLord was torturing phantoms. He gifted Luminous some raw chicken he had found, and then Luminous pulled out his sword. He said "So.... You wanna run?" and Herbane asked why, pointing out that he gave him chicken as a sign of peace. This must of sent them into an existential crisis as they gave Herbane 3 golden carrots and proceeded to leave shortly after. Herbane explored the area, and crossed over a lake to a mob farm. Here, Ninja found him.

Ninja greeted Herbane, and he greeted Ninja back. They asked each other how they were doing and Herbane told him that he was thinking about his anger issues. Ninja asked if he wanted to see them again, and that they could test to see his "anger issues". Chronic said Ninja was typing really aggressive and to be careful, and Herbane backed away whimpering, throwing the carrots at Ninja as a sign of peace. He said that Ninja seemed proud of his anger issues. He then started to climb a tower of scaffolding next to the mob farm as Ninja chased him up and down it. Eventually a hoard of zombies started to form at the bottom, and in not wanting to give Ninja the satisfaction of killing him he attempted suicide by zombie, and succeeded. Herbane told Ninja that the zombie got to him first, and that it won the anger contest. He then asked Ninja "why do you hate me so?" and Ninja replied "I hate every griefer" Herbane once again told him that he was no griefer, and that he was honorable except for in chat. Ninja said "But but you are" and "I saw u" and once more accused him of stealing people's items. Herbane told him that Luminous gave him those carrots in exchange for chicken. He then reminded Ninja that if he is unsuccessful in gaining his trust then he will just come back with a new account in the future and he will never know. Ninja told him to not be so sure. Herbane continued and said that years of playing together would go by and then randomly while chatting the topic would come up and he would tell him he was Herbane, and that Ninja would think of how mean he was. Obsidian randomly states that they are going to kill themselves.

Herbane respawned in SauronLord's base, leaving and beginning to run across the nether roof. He says in chat that Dex told Max to re-review his application but that had never happened and it was closed. He said he didn't know what to do. AllMight replies telling him to just leave, and Ninja says he has an idea on what he could do, and asks where he is. Herbane replied "308 negra arroyo lane albuquerque new mexico" AllMight said he'd meet him there, and Herbane told him to bring pizza. AllMight told Herbane to "stfu" and Herbane asked "why do you hate me so?" AllMight responded saying the same reason Ninja does, and Herbane told him "ninja spreads slander and you believe" then AllMight randomly asks "I say slurs do you ?" and Herbane wondered what that had to do with anything, and said that he doesn't say slurs that he Isn't allowed to say. Later on though he realized that maybe AllMight had never watched Breaking Bad, and that he thought Herbane meant Negra as the N-Word instead of a street name. Around this time Dex joins the server, and Herbane re-caps on what's been going on, but it takes a while for them to answer.

As Herbane is running off without direction on the Nether Roof, Ninja finds him. The two greet each other again and Luminous joins the server. Herbane asks Luminous to prove to Ninja that they gave him the carrots while Ninja chases him slowly while he backs away, but Ninja says they don't care about that. They then tell Herbane that they can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Herbane replied middle, and Ninja tells him to stop, or they'll kill him. But Herbane knows they'll do it anyway. Ninja then went into further detail, "easy way is u stay trapped at spawn in an obby box, or I kill u, u spawn at spawn." about now Dex gets back to Herbane and tells him that he needs to leave and rejoin the Discord server to re-open an application, so Herbane left to go do that, this time seriously.

Later, Herbane rejoins after submitting the form to find himself trapped within a cage made of obsidian with no tools to break out. He asks Luminous to help free him but they were busy at the moment, so Herbane decided to punch his way out. Once free, he headed towards 00 on the coordinates bar to try and find a portal to the overworld as he had walked himself nearly 1000 blocks away from spawn. When he finally made it to the overworld, he found himself at the base of an unknown player at 2694 75 574, where he slept in their bed and killed himself to reset his hunger. He headed out to gather resources and came across a mountain that looked like the farlands at 3148 88 776, and stayed there for a couple nights gathering resources. Continuing to explore, he came across a ruined portal at 3574 63 676, and saw off in the distance a peculiar ruin poking out of the water at 3544 62 424. He headed there and decided to craft a boat to explore the ocean, looting multiple shipwrecks and underwater ruined portals along the way. He also discovered multiple ocean monuments littered throughout the cold ocean icebergs, interestingly finding two right next to each other at 4175 62 -961 and 4176 62 -1200, and even more interestingly finding two half submerged azalea trees also right next to each other at 4497 67 -1428 and 4639 68 -1423.

Eventually, through a treasure map he retrieved he found a cove at 4600 -1990 that would eventually become one of Herbane's bases, Crab Claw Cove. Here he stashed away all the treasure he had collected from adventuring, and started to dig for the one that brought him there. Though the treasure was submerged in water, he eventually found it after an hour of breaking a couple blocks and then swimming back up for air a couple hundred times. And near the end of his dig, he was finally accepted as an official member of CrabCraft. And thus marks the end of the Unverified on the Run era.

Current Membership

• 6th of August 2025

Herbane renovated his Unverified Hovel from a hole in the ground into a building. Herbane also joined the town Vinylonia and constructed another base there, albeit leaving out the windows. Herbane entered a petty fight between himself and ArcanaMC, with himself naked and Arcana covered in OP gear. Later, Herbane started another petty fight with Arcana at spawn, this time with Jurarules and ChewedApples. Herbane got his hands on a forbidden piece of artwork by Apples for half a millisecond before he was killed, but that was enough to need therapy.

• 7th of August 2025

Herbane constructed a path from his Manor in Vinylonia to his Hovel in the taiga nearby. He also ran for Chief of Justice, managing to gain 12 upvotes on his manifesto from the server which was mostly swayed by people friends in Vinylonia.

• 10th of August 2025

On the 10th of August Herbane started construction on a Nether railway connecting Herbane Land to CCC, but due to the way it was built nether mobs kept spawning on it, getting in the way and stopping his minecarts or just killing him altogether. For this he hired Rick (h3fw) to deconstruct the edges of the railway, paying him 20 diamonds for the job. Herbane did not want to do it himself as he had already dug up the cobble used on the rail, and wasn't looking forward to having to break it all over again to redo the railway.

Herbane was also elected Chief Justice this day, with 34.1% of the votes which was mostly swayed by friend in Vinylonia. and after the election he took part in the Auction (which was pure chaos) and ended up bidding 10 diamonds on a baby Zoglin, which he named Zoggy. Herbane constructed a pen for Zoggy in Herbane Land.

Later, Herbane was gifted another pet, given by Vinyl5five, a yellow Axolotl Herbane named Benson.

• 14th of August 2025

Herbane left Vinylonia on this day due to certain circumstances. He also decided to resign from Chief of Justice around this time.

• 15th of August 2025

Herbane constructed a machine to dispose of excess seeds from his farmlands, and so was born the Compost-o'Matic 1000.

Later, Herbane was hired by Liquid to flatten out a large space of his base, in exchange for 28 diamonds and 3 enchanted diamond tools. Herbane found two Ghastlings abandoned on the far north end of the area he was flattening, and was swiftly distracted into trying to bring the two home. When they arrived he named one Barry, and the other Betsy. Barry wears a dark green harness, and Betsy wears a pink harness. He used his new Happy Ghasts to retrieve two sheep and two cows for breeding, afterwards he built another bridge on his land and called it a day.

• 16th of August 2025

Herbane started work on a spider xp farm on his land, watching a tutorial on YouTube and testing it in a creative world. After confirming that it worked, he replicated it on the server. After finishing and removing the torches in the spawner room, he found out that it was not a spider spawner as he thought, and that it was a skeleton spawner. He then had to follow another tutorial on YouTube this time for skeletons. After some trial and error, he finally got it working.
